ASCA 2019, the industry’s biggest trade show, is fast approaching. As you pack your bags to head for Nashville, here’s a few things to keep in mind:
Come on Over to Our ASCA House — Anytime
During ASCA, come visit our house at 601 Trade Show Lane — that’s Booth 601 to you. You’ll recognize our signature purple logo and corner location just inside the entrance. Think of it as your relaxation zone where you can kick back and pamper yourself. We’ll have an oxygen bar with essential oil aromatherapy to keep you focused and calm in the middle of the hectic trade show floor.
Melody Mena Clarke (RN, BSN, MBA), Director of Surgical Specialties at Kaiser Permanente and a nationally recognized speaker on ASC administration, will be on hand to discuss “The Fourth Industrial Revolution in Healthcare.” Hint: ASCs play a significant role in the Revolution.
Office Hours
Whether you’re a long time CyramedX/now Simplify ASC user, or working with our new platform for the first time, we want to hear from you. Each day of the show, we’ll have our product team available to answer all your questions. What’s working for your center? What features do you want to master? Maybe you’re interested in the reporting module with its business intelligence tools. In that case, we want to know more about things like: what are you looking for in case costing reports: does it make sense to look at reimbursement per CPT, per payor and then add all direct case costs? You’ll have a chance to get face-to-face insights and best practices to help you master the platform and help your surgery center run at peak performance.
Test Your Business Intelligence
Later on Thursday, from 5:30pm to 5:45pm, Marta Shultz, our Vice President of Quality, wants to test your own business intelligence with a lightning round of trivia. She’ll be joined by Mary Brunson, Product Manager, and Norman Joseph, our Chief Technology Officer.
Head over to the Exhibit Hall’s Affiliate Presentation Studio to WIN it. It’s guaranteed to be fun (with possibly some prizes to boot)! You might also pick up a few tips about how to improve your data analytics and upgrade your reporting capabilities.

Ok, enough about ASCA. We are so proud of our hometown and are delighted you’ll have a chance to see a bit of Nashville while you’re here. We’re guessing some of you may already know a little about Music City. To test your Nashville knowledge, we prepared a quiz just for ASCA attendees!
